ANNUAL DAY REPORT
2023 - 2024


Namaste and very good evening to all of you!

On behalf of the management, staff and students of Haavad International School,
I heartily welcome you all to this special occasion of Annual Day Celebration.

I have a great pleasure in presenting you the 7 th Annual Report of Haavad International School for the academic year 2023 – 2024.

CBSE - (Central Board of Secondary Education) is known for its emphasis on theoretical and practical knowledge, which helps students gain a deeper understanding on various subjects. This prepares them for their school exams and various competitive exams such as JEE, NEET etc,..

Lead offers an advance CBSE curriculum for schools across India. We are in tie up with lead. Lead Curriculum is fully aligned with the latest guidelines prescribed by the CBSE board and ensures that every child’s education is truly holistic and includes National level exposure. We started the academic year with summer camp activities. Many students have done fabulous activities and submitted in the Lead Students & Parent App. Every student in ELGA (English Language and General Awareness) learns at their own pace based on their current level of comprehension. Practical experience and conceptual understanding provide students a glimpse of the actual competitive world.

According to the traditional view, no kid ever thinks, talks or moves in a straight line. However, while maintaining the current structure, our school promotes, learning through 21 st – century abilities like creativity, critical thinking and logical reasoning. Lead also provides Excel in coding with CCS (Coding and Computing Skills)

  • Assembly plays a vital role in school routine where they learn moral values, general awareness, vacabulary words and many more. We also initiated to plant saplings on the birthdays of our students. Many students planted saplings on their birthdays.

  • Club Activities
    The school has conducted various club activities like Science club, Maths club, Quiz club, Eco club and First-Aid club .The students are given various projects for club activities.

  • Health club is an association of students and activities for students to possess good health.

        Every Wednesday, Mrs.Fruity, Primary Incharge of Haavad International School and students give awareness speeches on health.
  • First Aidis a first medical help during emergencies.
    Every Friday Mrs.Shyla Vice Principal of Haavad International School gives First Aid tips to our students.
    Eg: fracture, insect bite, burns, snake bite, etc.

  • Celebrations are sharing the happy moments together. Last year, we celebrated many events and festivals.
  • Colours Day (Red, Blue, Fruits & Vegetables day)xs
  • Independence Day
  • Pongal
  • Children’s Day
  • Master chef competition and many more


  • World Environment Day
    World Environment Day was celebrated on 5 th June 2023. Mrs.Jensi and Mrs.Shyla conducted seminar for Eco club students about ancient and endangered trees. Students were also encouraged to plant saplings on their birthdays.

  • Investiture Ceremony
    Investiture ceremony was celebrated 27june 2023.The newly elected student leaders of various classes, school houses, scouts and guides, captains and vice captains took the oath with their group to abide by the school rules.

  • Field Trips are not only fun but also a lot of learning too. Students from Grade I to V went to Vattakottai , Kanyakumari beach, Wax museum and Gandhi Mandapam Students from Grade VI to IX went to Padmanabhapuram Palace & Mathur Thottipalam.
  • Student LED conference is a conference where students become teachers and explain a concept or give a short demonstration on a topic of their choice We celebrated SLC on 11 th March 2023 where all our students actively participated.

    It helped our students to improve their subject knowledge, communication and presentation skills.

    SLC encourage our students to think beyond regular textbooks. The feedback from parents were overwhelming and was an extremely positive experience for our school. Everyone enjoyed participating in SLC.
  • Our students also participated in various events & tournaments in district level competitions. In that J.Viveka from Grade X got I st Prize in Javelin throw and 2 nd Prize in Discuss throw in District level CBSE tournament which was held on 11 th February 2023 in Kings School, Vallioor.

    M.Joestal Antrina from grade V received gift from Lead for completing the personality development class, which was conducted by R.Madhavan.


    • Conclusion
    I would like to express my gratitude to our Correspondent Dr.D.Dinesh for extending support and guiding us in our journey towards excellence. My sincere thanks to all my dear parents for your kind cooperation in making our efforts a great success. I am happy to say it all again that I am blessed to be the Principal of Haavad International School My teachers, subordinate staff and above all, my students are my pride.


    Let me conclude this report by the words of our former President Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam. “Learning gives you creativity, “Creativity leads to thinking, Thinking provides knowledge, Knowledge makes you great.”
